VISION STAGE – SATURDAY 11:15 am – 12:00 pm
Two business school professors recently wrote a book called ‘the 100-year life’ which said that 50% of people born today will live to age 100. They argue this means we need to redefine our traditional 3 life stages (education, work, retirement) into a more circular journey. Join panellists to discuss how they think this will work in reality – how do we save money, keep healthy, and keep interested to last happily through a 100-year life?
MEET THE PANEL:
Maya has been supporting Northern Power Futures to create a schedule of content that appeals to all parts of Northern Society, particularly championing strong but less often heard voices.
Maya’s day job is in Economic Development, delivering Investment and Innovation policy across Lancashire. In her ‘spare’ time Maya is also a trustee for UK Girlguiding and advises a number of charities and organisations. A born and bred Northerner, Maya now lives in the Ribble Valley with her finacé where, when not promoting the North, you can find her going hiking or watching musicals
